  11. TUBEBLASTERPRO - Great tool to invite people to view your utube video. Search keywords: network marketing, internet marketing, etc. Then invite! I would be happy to show anyone interested how to use it via screenshot sharing but I have a MAC and currently TubeBlasterPro doesn't have a version for MAC. Another cool tool is: www.yuuguu.com/share. You can share whatever you have on your screen with someone else for FREE! You can walk new managers through the FHTM websites, etc. Truly amazing and fun! Email me at angela@21stCenturyWay.com if you would like more info. This is totally free information to help FHTM grow in Raleigh. We get back what we give out. Have a prosperous and productive week to the Raleigh area team(s)!

  15. I'm a relatively new member to the FHTM family and I've been running my independent business for about a month now. What the creators of www.fhtmtools.com have done and continue to do is by far the BEST service provided to any new or seasoned independent representative in the FHTM business. They embody the same core values as the company founder, Mr. Paul Orberson, by creating a vehicle to help people improve thier financial position by offering FREE weekly meetings and 3-hour comprehensive training sessions for $10 on select weekends. I don't know personally but I've heard that these training sessions are more comprehensive and informative than the CRT schools. I'm pumped about FHTM and very thankful to have this utility and these guys readily accessible in Raleigh. Keep up the good work fellas! What you guys have created is an invaluable asset to new, seasoned and prospective members of FHTM.

  36. Hey there Fortune Reps!

What an absolutely awesome meeting we had in Richmond last Thursday with Nathan Kirby! Nathan's business presentation is getting better every time I hear it! Not only that, but we had the largest group at the meeting we have ever had (73). If you are not attending these weekly meetings, you are missing the greatest opportunity that I can give you as the host of the Richmond meetings. It doesn't matter if you are a new rep, old rep, whether you have new people coming or not...you need to be there in order to get rejuvenated and to stay plugged in to what is happening in FHTM. We are gaining the respect and the support of Fortune's leadership. Nathan Kirby has committed to us and is willing to give is as much of his time as needed to help us grow. Todd Rowland has also committed to us and will be much more active in our Richmond organization in the very near future. Richmond is growing! Attend these meetings and grow with it. Please don't be left behind. I know there are a lot of things that can get in your way during the summer months (vacations, family reunions, outdoor activities, etc.) but like the farmer, you must plant the seed now in order to have a harvest in the fall. Folks, I hope you have gotten a handle on what you have here. I think some of you are still not aware of the future you can have with Fortune High Tech Marketing. Go to you local meetings. Give your input. Talk to your upline and ask questions or just give them any concerns you may have about your personal business and the situations you may be facing. Ask for their support. That's what they are here for. Take advantage of it! See you next Thursday? That is my hope!

  40. Good morning Fortune Team!

I can't stress enough the need for everyone to read the materials mentioned some time ago by Nathan Kirby, Todd Rowland, Trey Knight and Ken Bailey. Things have slowed down some but will explode again after the July 4th holidays. Now is the perfect time for you to take advantage of this and read these materials. I can promise you that it will be worth thousands of dollars to you over the next many years. First and foremost, read "Your First Year In Network Marketing". What an amazing book! I wish I had read this years ago. It would have saved me many bruises, wounds and frustrations. Instead, I went full speed ahead and had to learn the hard way! Next, read "Go For No". This will change the way you look at the word NO and get you through any rejections you may face. Then read "The Mentor: The CEO and the Kid". This will show you the importance of creating a support system within your organization and what being a "family" is really all about. All of these are a very easy read even if you are not a reader (which I am not). So take advantage of your vacation, free time or what ever and get busy educating yourself. I can promise it will make a tremendous difference in your organization but most importantly, in you!

Four group meetings set, 10:00am, 1:00pm, 4:00pm and 7:00pm, three of which are for real estate brokers, agents and mortgage folks with Nathan Kirby at the helm! Then we top it off with our regular Richmond, VA group FHTM meeting tonight again with Nathan giving the business presentation. It just doesn’t get any better than that!

  53. I joined fortune a year ago, personally had to recruit 8 people in manager room, made regional and have had to personally recruit another 8 people of my own warm market in my regional code, It is just not coming to me as easy as it does for some people, None of my people are willing to show buisness, literally running out of my contacts, and need team to put me in front of their people so can leap frog and get momentum. Trying to stay positive and continuing to approach everyone I know, "Everyone". Just need a break

  71. My husband & I joined about 1 1/2 weeks ago. We don't have our first managers signed up yet, but are very hopeful. We attended a large meeting help in Clemmons, NC and the excitement was contagious. In a world so full of negatives, it is wonderful to feel that you have a vision again. My advice to anyone is to find out as much as you can about the business in the beginning and make sure that you are always doing something each day (except Sundays of course) to sow seeds. Now, my husband is the more outgoing one when it comes to talking to people so that is the part of our business that he is handling. Each day he comes home with new names and phone numbers of prospects!! I also find it helpful to provide prospects for IR's and customers to our FHTM site regularly, and make it a point to mention the wonderful FHTM Rewards Mall. I just found this blog today, and appreciate being able to hear of others experiences with FHTM. Right now, we have a vision to see those who have no future--the homeless, out of work, single moms, etc. join up and better their lives and other peoples in return.

Would someone (Preferably one of the folks who are doing well) please tell me what you say to a friend, a good friend who wants to know "What is in it for me to shop from your web site? and fortune market place? Price is not going to make it, convienience is not going to make it.. asking them to help you make money is also not going to make it... so please tell me what is the benefit to my customers to shop on my site???
    Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  74. Never mind the previous Rewards Mall question why to shop on our site..To busy trying to recruit to find out answers myself..There has to be something in it for the customer to shop on our sites...The good discounts and reward points, ease of shopping are a few of them...

  75. Exceptional Week!
August 12th, 2009 What an exceptional week last week turned out to be as well as the last few day and weekend of July. Todd Rowland was gracious enough to give Richmond and I three days of meetings and training. I can’t get over the superb support that is given to all of us in this business. Then there is Nathan Kirby. What a wonderful individual and frined. He has surpassed all of my expectaions. I would have never thought that someone with his knowledge and wisdom would ever have the time or give the effort he has to help Richmond and my organization grow. Nathan, I can never thank you enough for all that you have done and I know will continue to do.

NOTE: This entry is for the Richmond, Va FHTM organization / Tom Gravitte's down line only.

    Help Needed!
I need your help with something. Hopefully this will not sound like a plea for myself because it is not meant to be that at all. Nathan Kirby and Todd Rowland have broken their backs to help me with the Richmond orgainization. Now, they need our help. Linda and I personally need 6 more reps from anywhere in our RSM down line in order to be promoted to ESM. What does this mean to Todd and Nathan? Once myself and one other RSM in Nathan’s down line are promoted to ESM, Nathan will move to National Sales Manager and Todd will be included in the Presidential Pool and override everything that happens in the company. There are no two people in the world that I know of that derserve this more. Please put your thinking caps on and set appointments now to see people and make presentations. Wouldn’t it be great to see Nathan and Todd receive their promotions at the convention in September? All I ask is that you put me in front of people and let me help you and them get the promotions that you so richly deserve! Call me any time day or night: 252-586-4090 (H), 252-676-2294.

    Countdown to Fortune Fest!
Just two more days before we leave for Lexington, Kentucky for Fortune Fest! I am so very anxious to get there and see Todd and Nathan again. What an unbelievable up line to have. Both have been instrumental in the growth of the Richmond, VA organization as well as personal growth for Linda and me. There will be several from my orgainzation and down line there. Representation from VA will be good! Thanks to all who helped us achieve Executive Sales Manager. I hope you know that nothing has changed and that we are here for you as always. Now we move on towards Nationl Sales Manager. Realistically, I want to be there within the next 12 to 18 months, sooner if possible!. So…now we begin to work towards that goal. I am looking forward to opening up a group in Meridan Conn. on September 10th, 2009 with a very special friend of mine. I know that his organization there will just explode! From there on to Texas where I hope to get a cousin of mine envolved that was very big in Mary Kay. And so it goes. See you all in Ketucky this weekend!

  88. Listen folks, to the guys who are getting a little discouraged. Remember two things. It will take time to build your group. It isn't a get rich quick scheme. So give it some time, and if you work on it, it will work out for you. Just make business cards, or flyers and start giving them out to people you see. And the second thing you need to remember, you don't need a bunch of people under you to succeed. Only a few to get started, and then you help them get theirs, and so on. You'll get there, don't give up.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I'm gonna have to be real and put this out there. I am willing to receive whatever critique any successful rep can give me. Here goes...I've been a mgr for 2 years, got my first 3 qualified and they quit. They did nothing during the business. I, myself, was trying to learn the business and found out I needed to "show the business". I began to push the DVDs, got into lots of homes but there were
no takers for FHTM. I got into a Strategies for Success class with lots of scripture backing at my church and it helped to keep me motivated. I have been showing the presentation but perhaps not enough. I have a fulltime job and have been doing FHTM partime. Don't get me wrong - I have also procrastinated but I have kept up with what FHTM has been doing. I want to make RSM and I'm struggling to get there. I have noted my business on Facebook with my website. No hits yet. I probably need help in that area to promote on Facebook. My thing is that I want to give myself exactly ONE YEAR (Sept 2010)to get this business rolling. ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE? I have not given up and don't plan to! I do know a lot more about FHTM than I did 2 years ago. I feel I should have been RSM many months ago...(I'm a married female in my early 60s who wants to retire and do FHTM fulltime. Hubby is doing his own thing being self employed) Waiting for any and all suggestions...

  90. To answer the above comment, you need to approach people you meet. My motto has been "Tell everyone you know, everyone you knew, and everyone you meet." Sure, you will get a lot of "NO's" but you have to get those to get your YES's!! I have made flyers that I use to show people, that show them the products we have and how they can get money back on that. Now with the new products, its really a great opportunity. Some network marketing companies only sell nutritional products, or cell phones, or water filters, WE SELL IT ALL. You need to sell the dream. A person can either go out and buy a $1 million dollar McDonald's franchise, or they can join us for $299. You will meet a lot of people that won't join. But you will meet a few that will. And you only need a few. You need to find 3, who will find 3. It may take you 12 people to get to those "good" 3, but once you have them, I'd rather have 5 good ones, than 50 bad ones. When you approach someone, don't act as if they are helping you by looking. Act as if you are helping them by giving them an opportunity to get out of their rut, and have a real opportunity to make something of their lives. Don't give up. You can do it.

  91. Thank you so much for the Sept.12th response!
Since my Sept. 9th posting, I had someone approach me at our weekly meeting, out of curiosity. I set up a one on one with her that Sat. and she was excited! She was in her twenties (and a college student)and she could really see the vision. I am to go back to speak with her father. That same day, a prospect I showed the BP to this summer has asked me to show it to her and her husband again. She asked for several of my business cards to distribute in getting permission for me to call them. I know this works and I am currently ON A MISSION! Thank you for your input and may God continue to bless you and your business!!!!

  92. Glad I could help. When I first started, I thought it would be quick, and I'd be rich in a year. Well, if it was that easy, everyone would be doing it. It isn't easy, but it is simple. There is a big difference. If you put in the time, and talk to people, you will succeed. Everyone thinks they need to know hundreds of people. You don't, to make a lot of money, you need 3. As soon as you get 3, make sure they are trained, and help them get their 3, so they can help theirs get their 3. And if everyone will just do that, it is mathematically impossible to fail. So concentrate on getting your 3, and make sure you train them the right way. Good luck

Todd Rowland will be doing an opportunity meeting and training on Thursday for this group and another small group that is just getting started in the Hamlin, CT. If you have anyone that is within 1 ½ hours driving distance to the Todd Rowland meeting, plug them in NOW. I will give a complete schedule of meetings for both Richmond, VA and Meridan, CT. below. Hey Richmond…we have a great opportunity here if you will just take advantage of it. Todd Rowland is coming on a Wednesday in September and Ken Bailey is coming in October, also on a Wednesday. 94. I have a question. Has anyone encountered using their personal debit/credit card to initiate a transaction with Dish Network for a customer other than themselves? If so, the $49.99 that they want you to commit to but that you also get credited upon 24 month commitment, do you get that credit on your credit/debit card or is it applied to the account (this customer will be electing a paper bill each month). Anyone have the scenario before?

  95. Credited to the customers account.

  96. The $49.99 is credit back on the first Dish Network bill. I just got mine the other day.

  97. Nathan,

Is there any way to integrate your calendar with fhtmmeetings and fhtm.net? Your calendar is the best & easiest to navigate, but none of the different sites really has a comprehensive list of meetings. We have so many FHTM websites now that you can easily spend all day checking them out & not manage to accomplish anything else!

  98. Will parts 3-15 of the 15 part Todd Rowland training audio be added soon? Thanks.
And I agree with the above post about all the websites. I had to create my home html homepage just as a launch pad to all the others.

  99. I am a new rep. I would appreciate knowing when parts 3-15 of Todds training audio's will be added. As a new rep I need all of the help I can get starting this business. The frist two audio's were great. Looking forward to the others.

  102. I have been in FHTM since January of this year. I haven't been too successful, but am committed to working at it. I have met Todd Rowland and Mr. Oberson, and can see the business potential just at my fingertips. FHTM is a tremendous business that I love to do, but it's just hard to get people to join me in the business because of how young I am. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get more people into my downline?

    Thanks Nate from VA.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Hey Nate! All I can say is use all your resources! I believe you live somewhere that has meeting all the time. Plug into those meetings! The only way you will get more people in your downline is to build your front line first. You have to at least present to five people every week to get your business going. Don't give up, because once you get to Regional status and build your front-line there! Your business will explode if you continue to be a great leader to those that come into your organization! My name is Edmond and I am back and forth between Cali and Rhode Island building my business. You can call me at 312-543-5317 if you have more questions!

  108. You can tell that there is A LOT more room for growth in this company. I'm having a difficult time finding human beings to hook up with my potential new reps in states like Colorado and Oregon!

The best we can do in this situation is to make an appointment to attend a webinar or conference call together, watch video online at the same time, then discuss it afterward. I have to be honest, I'm new in the company and can't wait to be able to use the Amusement Pack's 2/1 airline ticket deal someday and give my new reps the personal attention they need to succeed quickly!

If anybody has friends out here in No. TN that I can sign up for YOU, let me know. You can return the favor for me wherever YOU are! ;)

God bless you all on your journey and, as Rev. Brown says, keep shucking oysters until you get the pearls!

    Many Blessings ...

Thank God for an opportunity to change not only my life and family, but the lives of so many others who are looking for exactly what FHTM offers.

  110. Question:?
Does anyone know where we can get a copy or embed code of Chris Halls Business Presentation that was on VIMEO? Recently it was removed from there, we really really like it, it was a webinar presentation. Any Help would be GREATLY appreciated!

  111. If the video was removed from VIMEO, then the code would no longer work. It seems that the company is removing these videos from other sites so that you use TheReelFHTM.net

  116. Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing & Todd Rowland Hit with Class Action Suit
by louabbott on September 3, 2010

In a 42 page document (exclusive of Exhibits) plaintiffs Yvonne Day , Leonard Haslag , James McCormick and John W. Turner filed a class action law suit against Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing, Inc. (FHTM), the company, the owners, officers, some employees and distributor leaders. In blistering language and drawing on the recent legal actions by the States of Montana and North Dakota, the suit alleges that FHTM is, and always has been, an “illegal pyramid” scheme and is a “Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization.”

The video on this page is part of a business presentation of the Fortune Hi Tech Marketing compensation plan by Presidential Ambassador, Joel McNinch that is quoted in the lawsuit.
Others named in the lawsuit are:
Paul C. Orberson, Jeff Orberson, Thomas A. Mills, David Mills, Billy Stahl, Simon Davies, Ruel Morton, Todd Rowland, Ashley Rowland, Todd & Ashley, Inc., Mike Misenheimer, Steve Jordan, Joel McNinch, Chris Doyle, Ken Brown, Jerry Brown, Bob Decant, Joanne McMahon, Terry Walker, Sandi Walker, Sherri Winter, Trey Knight, Kevin Mullins, Scott Aguilar, Molly Aguilar, Nathan Kirby, Dwayne Brown, Aaron Decker, Susan Frank, Ramiro Armenta, Angelina Armenta, Alexis Adame, Teresa Adame, Darla DiGrandi, Matt Morse, Matt Barrett and Roberto Rivera
The suit seeks to close down the company through injunction relief and recover treble damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees.

The law firm for the class action suit is:
    DINSMORE & SHOHL LLP
    1400 PNC Plaza
    500 West Jefferson Street
    Louisville, Kentucky 40202
    (502) 540-2300 (Telephone)
    (502) 585-2207 (Facsimile)
    kenyon.meyer@dinslaw.com

Interested persons can follow the development of the law suit at Justia Dockets and Filings.
Mr. Jason Baker, who was identified to me at FHTM as general counsel for the company was not immediately available for comment.
